Universities Fighting World Hunger (UFWH) began in 2004 as a partnership between the United Nations and the World Food Programme and Auburn University. Universities around the world have joined in the effort to eliminate hunger locally and globally and UFWH is still continuing to grow.
BOND H.E.L.P (Hunger Eradication and Long-term Projects) represents the Bond University Chapter of UFWH. At present, there lies a significant opportunity for potential partners to leverage this unique, inspiring and universally appealing global forum in the fight against hunger. As an internationally connected organisation, your company has the opportunity to communicate your brand values to the world.
The small student club will be in its second semester by May 2012 and we are currently in the initial stages of planning an internationally recognized global forum. We also hope that sponsors will join us in food drives and packaging for local centres and organisations within the Gold Coast, where emergency food is needed most.
In terms of the benefits for your business, the Dialogue on Hunger will bring students and guests from all over the Asia-Pacific region for a conference to be held over three days at Bond University. As well as the opportunity to be apart of an effort to eradicate the world’s most curable issue: Hunger, this effort will bring sponsors exposure to a global audience.
Tailor-made partnership opportunities also exist, designed to maximise your exposure to Bond University students. Beyond the Summit, BOND H.E.L.P, is giving potential partners the opportunity to be aligned with the club exclusively, offering partners unique exposure opportunities in the running and participation of fundraising events. Additionally, your brand will have promotion and signage rights at Bond University at an event called Club Sign-On Day. With potential exposure to over 1000 students, we maximise exposure of your business by having a smaller number of quality sponsors who share in our value of a world without hunger. Cost efficient packages are available to promote both your business and awareness of our fight against hunger.
If you would like to be involved with our club and this cause, please contact us so we can provide you with more information. Alternatively, if you would like to discuss any aspect of the summit in more detail, or discuss further the rights to a partnership please also feel free to contact us.
